Site Supervision
It is common that specialist supervision is required to assist in
the care and protection of trees on construction sites. Following
the preparation of a Tree Protection Plan, our consultants can be
deployed quickly and with short notice to offer help and assistance
during the implementation of delicate construction processes within
the vicinity of trees on a range of development sites which may
include:
- Underground utility installation
- Over-ground cabling and pylon erection
- Highway works on residential streets
- Trunk roads and motorway sidings
- Tree works on land associated with the national rail network
All of the consultants are qualified and experienced in tree
works operations and the use of related equipment.
Even
temporary mounding of clayey soil can asphyxiate roots by preventing
the exchange of soil/root gases. Shallow-roots trees, like these
Scots Pines are likely to suffer if these mounds are not removed.
Regular site monitoring of development sites can avoid the
possibility of legal enforcement during construction and demolition
works. These Pine trees are protected by law and damage to them may
lead to litigation.
